OK guys, I know this has been attempted 2-3 times the past 6 months or so. Let's try and do this and give stars a good reason to finally add 50bb min tables to the Quarter.

Basically what I would like to happen is everyone who plays from 5NL-200NL to sign. At one point and time everyone above 25NL had to play it as well as the guys coming up will play it. My reasoning for trying to push really hard to get 50bb min tables is that 25NL is the first stake where you can actually make enough money to live off of. I have personally made a steady 2-3k a month this year so far therefore I see no reason why they can't at least add 50bb min tables.

Once we get a bunch of people to sign, vote whatever for 50bb min tables I will email stars with a link to this thread and explain to them that I've made a living from the Quarter the first 4-5 months this year and that the current state is terrible with the rampant amount of short stackers.

Also, if you would please add a reason (serious reason) as to why you think they should add 50bb min tables, please do so in this thread. Then once this thread gets a bunch of traffic, I will email and I would encourage you all to do so as well.

As I stated above 25NL is the first stake you can make a living at (in most countries) and I see no reason why 25NL should not receive the same benefit of 50bb min tables such as 50NL and higher.

There are SNGs and donkaments for people who want to spend $5 to play Short Stack Shove (a game no more similar to No-Limit Hold'Em than five card draw with deuces and jacks wild)

I think the number of nl25 tables would make it very reasonable to add 50bb min tables, its not like we want them to get rid of the regular tables, but like biglaw said, it just gives us more options. For any deep stacker 50bb min tables are hugely +ev not just so fish have 50bbs min, but also it allows us to avoid playing sub-optimally vs the shorties. If you want to shortstack NL just play donkaments imo.

I think the biggest reason and the one that makes the most sense in terms of appeals to the site is that it easily offers players more variety and choice in whatkind of game to play. We have deepstacked tournaments, turbo tournaments, etc. for just this reason. You aren't banning short-stackers because there will still be 20bb tables around if people want to play them.

You just did and please add an important reason why they should add them if you have a specific one.

So PS can get more rake in 200BB pots
