Is it ok to value bet the river?

I was afraid of going against a straight or KQ there, do you think it's better to bet the river for value or just check-call or check-fold?

Re: Is it ok to value bet the river?

edit: thought you had KJ not KT haha misread.

anyway yea board is scary for sure but seeing as the river probably helps him in no way and he didnt play back on earlier streets where, if he thinks hes ahead, he will probably raise. so you can bet around 35-50 cents on river and fold to a raise, as theres a lot worse like AJ etc that he will call you with.

not sure I like the turn cbet without reads here though. your usually behind if he bets turn behind you and you can safely fold to any big bet,

Yeah fold pre

Because you find yourself in positions on the river with trips and not knowing what the heck to do... Really getting no value in this hand to be making it profitable in the long run
