The depositing is easy. I talked to a live rep yesterday and was informed of the methods. However, cashing out is another story....

Just saw this in the NVG forum. No idea if it is legit or not....doesn't make any sense to be honest.

Are you saying that cashing out is tough? or are you just saying it could be tough

i've heard both. i read through the carbon cashout thread. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...thread-316674/

it seems like some of the checks came within a week and others would take a long time. furthermore, there are chances that the check bounces since it's an international check (might have been the same for ftp, stars - i always use transfers/echecks).

it could be hard given the environment as well. i plan to put some money in and let ride. it won't be much since i know it's a risk, but the games seem really juicy and depositing is easy as well.

I thought that the Merge Network had never allowed Australian players to play?

Does anybody know how Carbon/Merge network compares to FTP and Poker Stars? They offer 35% rakeback. I don't really care what all the advertising is about but after it's all said and done does the rake structure at Carbon and FTP (w/ 27% RB) pretty much mimick ea. other?

this is the same as stars's rake. the games are still soft. i'm playing 6max but the rake is still the same and i am definitely winning. (25nl) sample size is small but the play is lol.

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***

yeah i observed some games from 25NL - 1kNL and there are some lol plays. i think there was a 1kNL game where there was a full stack open limping in a 6 max game.

Back when I was playing 10NL 6max I was trying to find out which site was better for me to play at so I went through my HEM database to see how much rake I was paying:

Merge:

10NL 6max - 6.65bb/100

FT:

10NL RUSH 6max - 8.82bb/100

Combined with the fact that I was getting ~50% RB on Merge network, it was the clear choice.

I've been a 50NL reg for a few weeks, what limits do you play at and what's your SN if you don't mind sharing?

it's 50% contributed though. i mean it's true that ftp switched over to contributed but stars still uses dealt.
