Definitely worth the effort. The main question you have to ask your self is if you want to spend hours, days if not months setting up all the definitions, badges and graphs for your self or buy a pack like NC Edge or NC Advantage.
Personally i'm really close to buying Advantage but still not decided because Edge looks very nice as well. Plus it works on all stakes. But considering the stakes i play, advantage is probably the best choice for me.
I've gotten a few responses from others and they seem to think they wish they bought edge over adv. So i'm still undecided.

Dunno what you mean, its a limped pot. I was c/r flop since my position is not very favorable. Turn bet to get money from flush/straight draws, river shove because 70/9 fish doesn't fold J6/96/straight/flush/trips/TP/2P here.
Unless you put 99/JJ/KK in his latepos limping range, shoving is the best play here. I've gotten called by so many random stuff that not shoving river is a sin.

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***
i think he's referring to the fact that you didnt bet the flop with trips in a limped pot, which is in fact quite bad
going for the c/r is a pretty awful excuse and I think c/r'ing in that spot is quite bad too - you can just type in the chat box that you have a 6, it would do about the same good
once you make a boat, obviously losing is a cooler, but for the other times 99.9 times out of a 100 you're missing a lot of value not betting the flop

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***
I am only c/r if fish bets and other guy calls, otherwise I am just going to c/c flop. I think betting here is also pretty bad because its a Reverse implied odds spot OOP. And I disagree with the part that c/r screams a 6. Fish is still calling here with a Jack/FD all day

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***
My main point is that flop bet here is only going to be called by a FD or Jx, while at the same time if I check I will get him to bluff a much wider range where he is essentially drawing dead. Of course, this only works on LAG opponents.

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***
I do agree betting vs most loose callers here is the correct move, I am just saying in this instance its more +EV to c/r based on our position and villain tendencies. And there's almost nothing he's c/c 3 streets(I never put him on 88-AA pre with his crazy 3bet%).
I used to just donk these always but realized that sometimes c/c or c/r, depending on the situation, is more +EV

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***
Downswings can be ridiculous. I'm not one of those people who claim online poker is rigged, but this is just ridiculous.
Running 11K below EV in my last 8k hands alone, and been over setted god knows how many times. Anyone know how to run a filter in PT3 to see how many times you've been over setted? Past 2 nights I've got over setted 3 times in 2k hands (I'm guessing I probably had 45-50 sets total during that period..) Aren't the odds 98-1? haha.

Sounds very similar to my luck lately. It's hard not to feel like you're running impossibly bad. Try not to look too much into stats like that though. Everybody has their statistical anomalies. Nothing you can do but keep on grinding your way out of the downswing and try to improve your game in the meantime.

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***
I get in that situation a lot too, even at 10NL, the stacking off range of most regs on a dry flop is a set. I've got a reg who flatted my 3bet with KK and c/f a 272 board then showed to me. Nowadays I'm just c/r all day and 3betting all day.

No metagames at the micros. Bet your hands for value imo.

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***
Question about rakeback on Merge (specifically blackchip Poker)
How are they calculating rake paid? Because my PT3 is consistently showing that I am paying more in rake than Merge is saying I did, thus I am receiving lower rakeback payments. I read somewhere here that Merge uses a weighted contributed rake formula, but that PT3 is just calculated by how much was taken out of the pot (the normal way imo).
So up until 2 days ago, I didn't really think about it, until the other day where I just had one of those days. I got stacked like 5 times, (AA<KK (twice), KK<QQ, AQ<A9, got oversetted 3 times, etc. etc. I rarely even won a big hand. Thus, I paid like no rake. However, by the contributed rake formula I would have paid a ton since I was involved in so many big pots. However, Merge said that I barely paid any rake too. Thus is seems the contributed rake formula is bogus. I really feel like I am getting shorted everyday...
Anyone know anything more?

Re: ***OFFICIAL MERGE POKER REGS THREAD***
OK, so I stay at home and watch my kids during the day while the wife is at work. My main PC is upstairs. The kids mostly congregate downstairs in the living room. I'd like to review prior sessions/take notes more but If I leave my 2 toddlers unattended for more than 5 minutes I'll come downstairs to a bowl of spoons getting cooked in the microwave or some **** like that.
My question is: Is it possible to export, say, my last two sessions onto a flash drive, bring the flash drive to the downstairs laptop, import it onto my 2nd PC and then I could review/study downstairs while making sure my kids don't blow out the pilot light on my stove filling my home with flammable gas and preventing a future explosion?
If it is, how do I do it? Thanks and sorry for being too lazy to find out on my own.
