    Usually yes against a check raise. On a dangerous board 100% 3 bet. Best case scenario here he has flopped two pair and will jam but that's unlikely given this board. He will probably also call with an overpair though I'd expect this sort of villain to donk with that. However, IMO on this flop and especially if you have noticed a tendency for him to check raise regularly, then I just call. This is a pretty safe flop to call then raise the turn which will get more value in many situations from bluffs, over pairs and high pairs that he makes on the Turn with AK etc.

    I sometimes call flop and raise turn but I doubt there's a huge EV difference between the two lines. Some fish check/minraise like top pair and never fold it, others check/minraise junk and just aren't putting a lot of money in.
