today for the first time in a while i felt like playing a donkament. today i also learned that ipoker is terrible for donkaments and couldnt find one worth playing.

The only ones ive found I think worthwhile run about 9am to about 1pm UK time, theres a few 1-5K guarantees, usually with less than 300 runners, sometimes only like 150/180

yea i see that theres is a 1k gbp everyday when im playing but i can never play it cuz i meet my buddy at the gym everyday when it starts. ill take a look for those other guarantees ive been itchin to play a donkament.

Okay, got around to joining the ipoker network but it's been ages since I had to set up hem for a site. Do I have to do anything other than set up the 'auto import folder'?

no your all done, u might have to fix one of the setting to keep the HUD's in the same place to save rearranging them every time you join a table thought

I think the setting thats like WSGIY or something

i think you're done. hardest thing is going to get used to the software imo.

I suppose not having my preset bet sizing buttons will stop me from being lazy and force me to size ALL my bets a bit better.

well they actually have some preset bet buttons...which make fishes use more reasonable bets... (you won't see betting 10c into a 15$ pot)
software is hard to get used to for posting blinds, timing out, lobby, players searching, note taking...(coloured tags)....all the things that were cool on FTP imo. or maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it. whAt stakes are you going to play?

Are rumours of bots on Ipoker true? Not bothered if they are, but I'd like to be prepared

the time bank (or lack thereof) is really tilting. Starting sessions is the worst, i miss posting sooooooooo often.

Also, i checked about an hour or two ago, and for table counts:

50nl- ~25
100nl- 11
200nl- 6

Which is actually pretty good for fr traffic these days

Nah dosnt work like that. You sit there for ages pressing your B button on your keyboard to raise because you have quads and your opponent is betting in to you and then you time out and fold because you have a mental block not realising tableninja no longer works.

Thats not too bad i guess a lot of people have moved to ipoker lately as well which has probably made the FR games more popular. Think im going to stick to my plan of taking this opportunity to get good at 6max rather than just sticking to FR.
