i think its hard to get value from worse hand by shoving the river

thinking about bet $15 and fold to raise OR c/f vs. shove, c/c vs. small bet

thoughts?

I think you can go bigger on the turn.

If you go $11 on the turn it gives a pot of $34.50 on the river. You have $33 left in you stack and he is never folding Ak/AQ. Hate bet/folding for $15 and hate checking when he has Ax that we crush.

Wow it really has come to something when c/f is suggested bvb with a boat on the river.

More on the turn and very happily ship the river for fat value.

there's def value on the river here. he's calling a lot of Aces and you're hardly ever beat. and i wouldn't c/c either since he might check back small A

15/fold sounds good to me. i probably wudn't shove since these ppl find a fold with Ax vs. a shove

No they don't. They don't find folds with Ax vs shove because they play so few hands and they don't read well. I like more on the turn and shippling the river.

Re: NL50, 99 on A9J-T-A, river play?

im on board w/ 15/fold, and i would bet 15 with my entire range. betting more than 9 on the turn is going to look absurdly strong, so i'd dislike it.

im also okay w/ check/call if he's good at folding. he could find a fold w/ ak/aq on the river, but would probably just bet it himself once you check.

i hate c/shove, open jam, and bet/call
