My thought here was with the preflop, he would probably have something like JJ+.

I doubt that he 4 bets pre JJ (QQ is arguable at best). Only thing you beat is AK, but I doubt AK ships the flop. Overall you beat only a bluff by a complete drooler which wouldn't be often enough to justify a call. My 2 cents only.

I rarely fold overpairs to these flop open shoves because they are not usually a monster but combined with preflop which indicates AK/JJ+ you only beat a bluff and I think folding is best without reads.
