Newman 6 Tabling NL50 FR Video (60mb)

Hey guys,

I have just moved up to nl100 on ftp so I decided to make a video to help the guys at 50 or looking to move up to 50 from 25.

The video can be found here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LZGLZ04H

The video is 6 tabling nl50 FR tables on full tilt and goes for about 40 minutes of playtime + little hand review at the end.

Any comments, questions critiques about the way the hands are played would be more then welcome, this is also my first video so if I say a few things wrong its just because I am a little nervous

If anyone would like me to make another video feel free to ask, if you would like me to cover a specific topic or try to please let me know.

I watched the first 15 minutes...I'll catch the rest later. I guess I'll start 3betting you a little stronger for now on....

very nice vids. I like your notes and you stil to analyze every single situation very accurate..You seems to have a deep understanding of the game at all.
I guess is super standard to stack off with AK in 3 bet on a A8x board even against a nit...You played the AA hand a little aggro. If I put the guy on QQ or KK my goal is to keep him in the pot and not to piss him off, so I dont like your huge turn bet there...

But anyway nice work!

Agreed, i think c/r on the turn would of been much nicer making my hand look like AK. Or just betting smallish to get stacks in on river, I didn't think that hand through enough when I played it.

Just watched it. Very nice vid, you explain your thought process well. That hand with the guy setmining with 8s after you make that big 3-bet was sick.

Very nice job Newman! Really liked the strat talk. Hope I run like that when I get up to 50

Could you make the video in higher resolution next time b/c I couldn't make out the HUD numbers of people.

I watched like half of it for now, will watch the second half later today. Good video sir, I very much enjoy it and would like to see more. JJ vs AA on the J77 flop was a pretty sweet hand

Hi.

Nice vid! I wouldn´t mind if you made another.....

Would you like to share the ranges of your colour coding? I really liked the way you set the hud up.

Re: Newman 6 Tabling NL50 FR Video (60mb)

hi newmani,
good video, but can you explain why you flatcall villains bet in the 22 hand on A34 flop at 37:00?
isnt a checkraise much better there?

I can sure do that, it was my first time using camtasia so I was trying to keep the video size small for ease of download, but I think I could bump up the resolution a bit to make the hud stats a lot more readable.

I can sure do that for you (bear in mind these ranges are not 100%, just what I use as a guideline):

VPIP: >22 = green > 10 = white >0 = red
PFR: >15 = green >7 = white >0 = red
AGG F: >3 = red (aggressive) >1.5 = white >0 = green (passive)
STEAL: >30 = green (steal too much) >10 = white >0 = red (tight)

Fold to flop cbet: >80 = green >50 = white >0 = red
Cbet: >80 = green >50 = white >0 = red
Fold to 3bet: >75 = green (3bet often) >40 = white >0 = red (3bet tight)
3bet: >3.5 = green (3bets a lot) >1 = white >0 = red (tight 3better)

c/r that flop only gets calls from stronger hands or good drawing hands (KQc, AX is never folding etc). If we c/r that board we are committing ourselves to firing another bet on the turn (even unimproved). By calling we are almost always going to get a cheap showdown because he is likely to check back the turn with a hand like 88-KK fearing that I have an Ax hand in my range.

Also by c/r we can only represent a very narrow range of hands (33, 55, big Ax hands, or big club draws), c/r also gives him the option to shove over in which case we would have to fold.
