Virus detected when downloading this video... anyone who downloaded via the MEGAUPLOAD link only should download avast and check their PC... Their is a hidden iframe somewhere on the site with a trojan horse imbeded in it. I know for a fact that chinese dudes were using this method to steal peoples WoW and FFXI accounts... BE VERY CAREFUL.... if you aren't running noscript you're having sex with the internet without a condom!




Edit: It came in through a pop up so MEGAUPLOAD may not even be aware of it. I'd use the rapidshare download for now to be safe.

i d/l from megaupload, just scanned the filed, didnt detect anything.

i dled from megaupload and it worked fine, don't click on popups.

ok you obv don't get how iframes work... Its not in greg's file... its in an iframe in a pop up... you don't have to click it. It installs it directly to your PC using exploits from windows. If you think "not clicking on popups" means your safe I lol at you... Ignore my advice all you want, but there IS a TROJAN more then likely a pretty harmless trojan, but the second someone installs a keylogger through an iframe and your Pokerstars account gets emptied i don't want to hear anyone crying.

trust me, not clicking it is NOT going to save you if it is a key logger. I didn't click anything in the popup, and my firewall and anti-virus litup like a christmas tree when something tried to access my PC. Had ONLY AVAST picked this up i'd have not been as alarmed because its typically normal malware, but when an unkown host tries to connect to my PC and my firewall detects it as well as Avast I generally take the threat pretty seriously.

Edit: Oh yea, I didn't click on any popups, so I guess that Avast just magically detected that something was trying to access my PC and install something amirite?


Edit 2: Ok, It is coming from a popup 100%... Its a hidden trojan in the popup... It is a keylogger, I have contacted Megaupload to let them know, more then likely they are using the exploit below in FIREFOX....

Inline HTML frames (IFRAMEs) are used fairly extensively by a number of sites to accomplish a variety of tasks, from facilitating pre-XMLHttpRequest browser-server communication channel, to presenting advertisements, posts, images, to tracking users.

Firefox allows third-party sites to replace IFRAMEs embedded on unrelated webpages through the use of document.write() method. This problem was discovered back in 2006 and meant to be addressed by this Bugzilla entry, but a distinct attack against about:blank frames, as well as all other IFRAMEs during their load stage, is still possible.

Whenever document.write() is employed, frame data origin is updated to that of the attacking party, and as such, direct interaction with the rest of the attacked webpage is not possible. Still, a number of attacks can be carried out - from displaying disruptive or misleading contents in the context of an attacked site, to intercepting keystrokes or tracking other aspects of user behavior.

so, heed my warning or don't, i don't give two ****s, i'm trying to keep people safe. If you don't wanna listen I don't feel sorry for you.


However, if you're worried and want the best virus scanner on the plannet I'd HIGHLY suggest doing the following things on your poker PC to keep it safe while browsing the internet:
1. DOWNLOAD FIREFOX
2. DOWNLOAD NOSCRIPT
3. DOWNLOAD THE ADDON THAT 2P2 WILL BAN ME FOR IF I POST IT
4. DOWNLOAD SYGATE PERSONEL FIREWALL
5. DOWNLOAD AVAST ANTIVIRUS by far the best anti virus out and its free taboot

its not you obv gregg... sorry if it seems like i'm attacking you, because I really am not. Its in the megaupload site itself and has nothing to do with you or your file...

cds: First thing I'd do is download Avast and do a full scan, changing your password wont do anything... Also the ads that popup on Mega Upload are random of some sort so the chance that you got the same ad that I did isn't likely... I'd imagine that have a TON of ads they run, but it is better to be safe then sorry. I have downloaded tons of stuff from megaupload this week and this is the first time this has happened.

If you really want to protect yourself look at my previous post, get all the programs I suggested, and set them up correctly.

Ok nothing seemed to happen and I am running security on my comp but I'll do some double checks.

Or maybe use a Mac.

I'm going to assume that greg would say take the bet/bet/shove line for value against 99.9% of players at 2NL and 5NL since they're basically all fish.

Don't do fancy **** against the regs they are just not good enough at your stakes. The way I would play any reg at your stake is c bet and c/f any turn. They are not floating they are not exploiting you, they are not bluff raising. There are too many fish to worry about regs. They are busy value betting the fish LIKE U!(right cause your value betting them fish?)
