March 100K challenge

2+2 Does not endorse, encourage or sponsor any such challenge.

Pokerstars Winrate Challenge.

Terms
100k of Hands in March.
Highest winrate wins.
No more than 12 tabling - must be able to independently demonstrate.

Conditions
$2 dollar penalty per 1k of hands short of 100K $1 per 1k of hands for those 25NL less
Winrate calculated on Total hands played for March @ and only @ nominated level.
PokerStars
Must not have hide feature activated.
Cannot play below regular level as nominated level.
Minimum qualifying total 80K of hands
Discount of 0.1ptbb/100 per 1k of hands below 100k of hands
e.g. 95k of hands @ 4ptbb/100 = total of 3.5ptbb/100

1ptbb/100 Handicap for 50NL vs 100NL
2ptbb/100 Handicap 25NL vs 50NL

e.g.
100NL player earns 3ptbb/100 = 50NL must earn 4ptbb = 25NL must earn 6ptbb

Prop bet Risk/Reward

- you risk one BI of your level if won by level higher than you wins, If you lose to someone lower than you - you payout the BI of the winner level

e.g. 25NL wins - 100NL and 50NL pay each $25 to 25NL
100NL wins - 25NL pays $25 and 50NL $50

So you only risk one BI of your level but can only win a BI of your level from each player.

Any penalty dollars for volume under 100K goes to winning player.

HEM players must work out a way to demonstrate that they have not played more than 12 tables. PT3 will show an MT ratio no greater than 12.

Winner gets to choose 2+2 Location details for duration of month of losers.

Entrants will use an Honour system for payment - no escrow. If you dont well you are diaf scum.

Entrants will agree upon an Independent judge of winrate.

Rich and Digger reserve the right to refuse entry.

Entry only to those who regularly particpate in Micro FR.

Why regulars should enter?
If you need motivation to turn out good numbers & good volume - this is for you.
At most you are risking $300 dollars for 100NL for 50NL $250 or $225 25NL
i.e. you commit to challenge play no hands you lose your BI +$2 per 1k of hands short of 100K

Why only 12 tablers or less - well 24 tablers can do their own challenge.

Without Garph and Screenshots posted in thread at end of Challenge - prize cannot be awarded and challenge will go to next highest winrate published.

Entrants agree to at least one screenshot per week of challenge.

Rich start off scratch 100NL - 100K
Dog and Star come of 1pt bb handicap -50NL - 100k
Teddie 1.5ptbb h'cap - 50NL 16 tabling
Danimal comes off a 2.5ptbb/handicap - 25 NL (20tables)167k hands
Tao comes off a 5ptbb/handicap 10NL

If ALL players reach their volume target then maximum liability is

Rich $50 If we got another 100NL er Rich liability would be $100
Dan, Star Teddie $50
Danimal $25
Tao $10

Bear in mind the penalty on winrate if you just fall short as well as the $2 for 50NL +
ANd 25NL and less of $1 per 1k of hand

The start and finish of the March will be determined by timezone NOT Stars clock.
e.g. Dog starts before everyone else but ends before everyone else given Australia's timezone.

Each Player Agrees on disclosing playing SN upon request of other entrant - on the explicit understanding of never disclosing it without the advanced, expressed permission of player.

If any player is in danger of busting up - if all players agree then all liabilities of player can be forgiven. The point of this challenge is not to break anyone.

If Ship It Trebek determines that someone habitually went over table limit to achieve volume - forfeiture of chance to win is immediate.

All Volume underperformance fines shall be placed in prize pool for winner.

GL and prepare to get pwned.

Re: March 100K challenge

Yeah I think I know most of them.

You can determine easily with teamviewer if they have PT3, but I dont think HEM has MT Ratio stat.

I will attempt to gather all the SN's.
I think only a randomised checking system off and on should do if we cannot work out a way directly from HEM.

I really dont think it will be a problem given our weekly garph and stat clause.

I was going to ask if anyone wanted to do some site betting, but then I actually read the challenge and realized that would be very difficult.

Good luck fellas

SN's shipped to Ship and Digger. Now for the side bets, who's game?

Re: March 100K challenge

I'll take $100 on the Dog heads up vs. anyone else in the competition, even odds. Whichever of the two places higher in the final standings based on the above rules is considered the winner. First regular poster to respond and quote me in this thread will get the action, not booking multiple bets and not booking with unknowns. No escrow.

Re: March 100K challenge

Well Mogwai I might be interested but I'd need to know the screen names of the other players ^_^

Although I doubt I'd want to bet against digger for even odds.

I know 4 of the 6 screen names but I think we should leave it up to them whether they want to make it public or not.

Re: March 100K challenge

For betting purpose.
I did 80k avg. 9 MT ratio in feb. So I am pretty sure I will make the numbers.
My last 60k of 50NL ~4.7bb/100.
Havent check allinEV but I am definitely not running bad.

My goal will be ~120k of hands at 4ptbb/100.
If all goes well I should be using it as a platform for 100NL - which has been a bit of a mental block for me.

I am interested in a side bet but something fun is more my taste.

I'll take this bet*. If anyone wants my SN just pm me or I'll post up my stats.

*Actually I'll let Zenzor decide first when/if he gets everyone SN since he declared interest first, if not I'll take it.

Ok, I'm gonna go ahead and consider this booked (I assume you're picking yourself vs. Dog) since Zenzor had said he didn't really want to pick against Dog with even odds anyway. If Zenzor changes his mind and does want to bet, I'll make a 2nd bet with him.

If you want to PM me your screenname, that'd be cool, but you don't have to.

Re: March 100K challenge

PM sent mog, $100 booked so. Digger maybe we could have sidebets on biggest pot won/lost, best win-rate over 10k hands, Most buy-ins at a table in one session.

Re: March 100K challenge

Well teddie - if I was actually to have a bet - it would have been on you.

I am not sure if I am going to have to adjust to ge the extra 25% volume - I have been getting 3kish hands stretched out over 10 hours....playing short one hour to 90 minute sessions.

hmm interesting side bets. let me have a think about it.
