MP3: $31.70 (126.8 bb)
CO: $25.49 (102 bb)
BTN: $25 (100 bb)
SB: $21.77 (87.1 bb) 31/11/7 over 55
BB: $26.72 (106.9 bb)
UTG+2: $29.73 (118.9 bb)
MP1: $18.57 (74.3 bb)
MP2: $29.64 (118.6 bb) KK

Preflop:
UTG+2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, MP2 raises to $1.10, 3 folds, SB calls $1, 2 folds

Flop: ($2.70) 8 Q 9 (2 players)
SB bets $2.70, MP2 raises to $6, SB calls $3.30

Turn: ($14.70) A (2 players)
SB bets $14.67 and is all-in Hero?

So on the flop, I think raising a bit bigger than 6 on the flop is prob good(like 2.5x or something) But what kind of range can we expect here? TPTK, sets, two pairs, FD+gutters, straights, AA I would think. So what is the general plan here? My plan was to raise/fold flop, if he checked turn, prob go for value w a bet/fold line.

Thoughts?

*edit: with his range seemingly so strong here, (either lots of equity, nutted or TPTK), should we even raise the flop, or would flatting the flop be better. But if we flat flop and he leads large, what happens when he donks big again on turn? seems like top pair is the smallest part of his range if he was to donk donk large

If that's his range, you are absolutely crushed and need to just fold the flop. If he can show up here with a naked AQ or KQ, then you have 40-48%, and you can call one and call it off on brick-brick runouts.

I'm slightly inclined to think he can have Qx here. People donk big into flops like these for protection against draws.

I thought that making a small raise on the flop could get called by worse and if he came over the top I can easily fold. When he call/shoves turn, easy fold. The flop was just a bit strange. I don't necessarily like flatting the flop because he could just continue ramming w a Q and we can fold the best hand. But I suppose thats not too big a deal.
