What OS does it have dog? My comp is similar spec, bit worse, and I can multitable with PT4 and music playing no problem on Win 7. My wife a similar spec machine that shipped with Win10 and I had to turn off pretty much everything non-essential in windows to get it to run anything above meh (no SSD on either comp tho).

New comp will have win 7.

At the moment I just have a quad core cpu, 4mb ram and an SDD drive and over the last few months the performance has been slowing down significantly. I used to have HEM2, TST, 12 tables and YouTube running. Had to stop using YouTube 'cause it was causing Stars to lag, and now a month or two later I occasionally have to stop TST or restart because of lag. Probably tilted off over $1000 because of it. Lol.

Anyway, they have to order my SDD drive, so not picking it up until next Wednesday which gives me time to change to an i7 if people think it's going to be that much better.

just saying assuming you gonna get the pc for at least 2 years, although i7 doesn't have any significant difference vs i5 if you just do daily stuff. But if you do open a lot of stuff, esp if you were thinking of getting pio in the future, then definitely i7.

think the most important part is the ssd, which a lot of people overvalue. a pc without ssd is like...fire without flame.. kinda of a lame metaphor but u get what I meant

Drove to a casino is a different city on Sunday for some live action. Won the biggest pot I've ever played.

Open 58cc to $12 from HJ and get 4 callers.

Flop comes 887hh I cbet $55 bb x/r to $120 I jam for over $500, get called by 46hh and hold.

Was up $1400 in 5 hours, then 2 fish bought in for $1000 each and wantes to raise the blinds to 2/5 with a $10 BTN straddle. Played for another hour or so but eventually got scared and ran away. Happy with my biggest ever live session, especially coming the day after my biggest online session.

This is month is just magical so far, everything poker has gone 100% right and I'm up almost $5k.
