Hi all,

This hand I played at a rush table. I had AK preflop, and raised 2x. One caller, with the following stats. His VPIP 25 / PFR 11.25 / 3-bet 3.57. I called on the flop, which i doubt if it's a good move now. Any thoughts if I can play this hand better?

Raise more preflop. At least 3x

Call on the flop is fine. If you raise your folding out all of the villains bluffing range.

Turn is fine as well.

Bet more on the river as people at the micros see their hand strength only for the most part. So if he has a full house he will be thinking "ohh I have a full house I must be good"

After he's bet pot on the flop and turn I might even shove the river.

Raise more pre, floating flop and turn is fine.

Shove river, people love fullhouses.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I´m trying to learn to beat the micro´s, I can do it, but with almost no edge. It´s kinda frustrating.

Ok, here some questions then. In a pot under 1 dollar 50, how much should I bet? Dovidiu says shove, cause they just look at hands, and Dwimmerlaike says just bet more, but what's more, 3/4 of the pot or just pot and pray for a call?

I did bet 50 cents because I was scared to lose the guy and thus lose value. If you think you have the nuts, what's a normal bet size?

Lol sorry I see now

Ok, another hand I need some help with. He's a villain with 31 / 22 over 220 hands.
I think I played it right till the flop. Then he started raising every street. I wanted to keep te pot small and not reraise him because I thought I had to fold t another bet. Ofcourse the J on the river is unlucky, but I'm wondering if I could have played this hand in a better way?

I do lean towards shoving in your first hand.

Btw if you copy your hand history into the hand history converter your posts will look like this. Much easier on the eyes. Don't post results at it will give you results orientated answers.

You really should start a new post for a new hand rather than a containment thread for your hands but..

Don't 6x it preflop. Keep this for your AA/KK on tables that are super loose. Just go with a standard 3x open.

As played I don't like the river call. What do you see about the villains bet sizing in the hand?

    Hi,

He is sizing his bets around 40% fr flop as well as turn, then he makes a bigger bet for the river. I thought he might have a weak ace or AK/AQ/AJ. Now that I look at it it might be stupid to call in this spot. But I guess I was kinda hoping for that weak ace.

I still don't see the obvious fold, can you explain that to me?

Villains at the lowest stakes tend to play pretty face up.

So he should have a pretty strong range once he 3bets you 6x open.
