How could I have played this differently? How could I have played this differently?

Hey everyone! So I have a tagged hand from my session earlier and I can't help but feel there are lot's of errors in the way I played it. What would have been a better way to play this?

BTN: 54 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 25.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 21)
SB: 150.5 BB (VPIP: 20.80, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 2.38, Hands: 128)
BB: 34 BB (VPIP: 15.63, PFR: 3.13, 3Bet Preflop: 7.14, Hands: 32)
UTG: 50 BB (VPIP: 3.70, PFR: 3.70, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 27)
Hero (CO): 50 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8 8

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, BB raises to 9.5 BB, Hero calls 6.5 BB

Flop: (19.5 BB, 2 players) T 2 4
BB bets 14.5 BB, Hero calls 14.5 BB

Turn: (48.5 BB, 2 players) 8
BB bets 10 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 10 BB

River: (68.5 BB, 2 players) 9

BB shows A J (High Card, Ace)
(Pre 44%, Flop 31%, Turn 18%)
Hero shows 8 8 (Three of a Kind, Eights)
(Pre 56%, Flop 69%, Turn 82%)
Hero wins 64.5 BB

is this some kind of 50bb table or do u just bi for 50bb?
i would play it in same way with this stacks,u r never folding so just let him bluff river(u r basicly not foldin on spade river with 15bb behind)..i would sugest that u start with 100bb tho, much more space to make moves and be creative and witch is more important make more $$$

It's the maximum buy-in for 0.01/0.02 6-max on 888. Kinda odd, unless I can in fact get on 2NL 6 max tables.

vs a 34bb stack and a 9.5bb 3b your play should be to jam or fold not call. Without info and being in the CO I'd lean more towards folding, but I'm not too confident on my shuving ranges.

By calling his 3bet your spr is far to low to fold any flop. Being around no 1.2 or so at a quick glance, so with the probable lack of fold equity (given his big raise) the standard here would be to shove or fold.

But...

I find it interesting how you've played it either rightly or wrongly. Say he's really terrible and 3b things that he can't defend to a shove even with his shallow stack, then you 4 betting all in simply folds out all that crap (but protects you're hand against any random 10-9 j-9 type hands that have huge equity against you and wins you his 9.5bb, which is always good) and isolates 88 against a stronger range.

In calling down you've left every bluff he's capable of having in there. Probably not the best way to play it but still interesting.
