i would jam or fold flop, ur play is just spewy

imo.
jamming the flop is terrible, specially this deep

At the most basic level trying to bluff someone who's repping a ton of strength in a 3bet pot is never likely to end well.

give up, if you're going to jam, do it OTT or on a river diamond

also don't be sad when you make tilt plays like those, just keep playing it fine, realize it was a mistake and move on

if we are going to bluff in that hand it'd be much better to do it with a diamond as it blocks the villain having a flush. e.g. if we have AdQx

yeah A8o is a clear rejam vs co,(obv assume co is jamming somewhat correct to nash) a7 seems a bit loose.

I don't know why I decided to jump into 500z pool today.

only lost 700 after 1k hands. obv has to run KK into AA BvB vs one of my 200z rivals..

then vs a 200z russian station. didn't expect him to show up with that due to position.

        yes

and NL10 is usually full of nits, even if they can be easily exploited, a 12bb/100 rake is retarded. Maybe it was because I used to play a lot of pots, pretty loose and aggressive, but it's still damn high, I think that it's much better to play NL25 or just grind it out on NL2/NL5 and go directly to NL25, people there are pretty bad and rake isn't that crazy(although still pretty high)

        Re: @@@*** February 2017 - Goals / Progress / Results Thread ***@@@

BTW, I think my goal to move to NL500z is pretty much impossible, even if I somehow ran hot on NL50-NL100, NL200, I wouldn't even get close to have a breakeven game in that stake, maybe I can't do it even in NL50. It's not a matter of bankroll, I'm still making very bad calls, sometimes bad valuebets(although rarely bluffing people who won't fold, which is a HUGE improvement in my game).

I'm still a very bad poker player, so I'll focus on beating NL25, correcting my mistakes, building my bankroll slowly, as I improve, I'll think about moving to those stakes. There's no point in grinding it out just to dump the money to the guys above, it's much better to focus on improving, while making that cash so I can take safe shots, with more than 40 BI into an unknown stake.

        goal for this month is:

[ ] get good at poker
        [ ] make less mistakes
[ ] learn how to make good calls
