I did not cbet the flop for pot control since I didnt like my kicker much. I also checked the turn since I knew he was really aggressive and that he would not check back the pot for a second time.

Now, do I raise the turn or do i just call? If just calling, I feel I'm keeping all the bluffs in his range, and that if I'm raising, Im getting called only by better hands...

Also, how would you play the river?

I would put him to 2 pair at the best maybe full house but it's not very possible. So at least min raising there is OK.

Checking flop for pot control OOP isn't terrible, but betting flop will make turn/river easier to play.

    As played bet turn.

    As played bet river.

As played call river because our raise doesn't get called by worse.

I still don't see how worse calls our raise.

I think this hand was perfectly played and you maximised as much value as you could out of the situation.

A raise at any point is just retarded. You get a couple of better hands to fold but every worse hand almost certainly folds to your raise so it's -EV. Remember this is nit-ring, not heads up.

    Easy game.

Villain looks splashy, have to bet this flop for value.

I think if we bet this flop then we never win a $4.09 pot off of the type of hand that the villain actually has.

Passive >> Aggressive here in my opinion.

bet the turn, he may not believe you have an ace, so you can bet again the river.
i think you didn't lose too much value, since his hand wouldn't pay you off big, i think it's ok as played, but in spots like that, checking the flop is ok, but after the ace, it's a turn and river value bets

I like checking flop and betting turn betting river for 2 streets of value, regardless of whether we trips up or not. You can always b/f river 3/4 pot yourself.
