I'm not saying these new cotws are inapplicable at low stakes, but new players can easily misinterpret the info given here and misapply it. I mean 3 betting light vs a steal and playing oop is a topic which shouldn't really be a common situation until 25nl really at the earliest. Ofc it's good to have this knowledge at 2nl, but it's not really going to be the best use of a new player's time. I mean the cotw is too good an idea to let go to waste, but we need to think of ways to expand upon it otherwise we will just end up going around in circles.
grunch most of the rest of this thread.....
So many awesome topics now exist in the table of contents, and the topics appear to be so varied in terms of their level of specificity to the game, I would find great use of some priority list of the topics for the benefit of a new/neophyte player trying to learn how to play the game. In other words, what topics should be read before others to learn more about the fundamentals of the game from the CoTWs? I am guessing at which to read first and reading them, but the good threads take a long time to read, and I would rather do it more efficiently if I can.
So, any experienced advice?
