Can we ever get away from this nasty Flop? Can we ever get away from this nasty Flop?

5NL Zoom, only a dozen hands with Villains.

When he raises Flop it's pretty much a set or a chump move with 2P or P+SD/GS, but can we/do we want to fold Flop or do we just ****-it-call?

Probably fine, I would guess without looking into it further.

I mean we're likely beat here but drawing odds, money in pot and 'whatever it's micro's and all the possible weirdness that goes with it' make this an easy allin imo. We're not folding a gut shot straight+flush draw (with 2 overs though those are probably irrelevant, though AhQh would maybe be preferable).

Just play around with Equilab and see what you think. It's so marginal. We are never way ahead. We need like 38% equity and reasonable ranges I'm plugging in give us between 36 and 39. Against this we have 37% (JJ,99-88,QTs,J9s-J8s,98s,AhJh,AhTh,KhTh,JhTh) if we add some stuff like this (QQ+, Td9d, Ts9s, Tc9c, 7h6h, 6h5h) we get to 42% so you really need to stretch his range to make it profitable. All though there's always the random factor and gambling is fun so don't feel bad to just go with it.

Players at 5NL zoom don't get tricky in spots like this. The zoom factor causes most people to play more of a fit-or-fold style. So in this context you should give villain more credit that you might in a regular 5NL game.

I would of called and run it through a poker calculator and study the hand later to see if i made the right move and try to avoid a similar situation next time.

It's just a cooler really. No way you can fold, just shove while you have the most equity
