This is the first hand that I am posting for review and I just want to know what I could have done differently.

PokerStars - $0.10 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4: http://www.pokertracker.com

BTN: $18.18
SB: $16.57
Hero (BB): $12.74
UTG: $12.97
MP: $23.16
CO: $14.66

SB posts SB $0.05, Hero posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has A Q
UTG raises to $0.25, fold, fold, BTN calls $0.25, fold, Hero raises to $1.20, UTG calls $0.95, fold

Flop : ($2.70, 2 players) 2 T 8
Hero bets $1.40, UTG calls $1.40

Turn : ($5.50, 2 players) A
Hero bets $3.78, UTG raises to $10.37 and is all-in, Hero calls $6.36 and is all-in

River : ($25.78, 2 players) 3

Hero shows A Q (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 75%, Flop 49%, Turn 39%)

UTG shows A 2 (Two Pair, Aces and Twos)
(Pre 25%, Flop 51%, Turn 61%)

UTG wins $24.62

Here are a couple of specific questions I have:
1. Is this a bad play preflop? Should I be 2/3betting with this hand preflop?
2. Was it the right move to raise on the flop, should I be checking here if I am out of position. If I check and villain raises, should I be re-raising or just flatting?
3. Any comments on bet sizing would be appreciated, since I am not entirely sure if my bet sizing is proper.

Thank you for your time!

I would appreciate it if a mod could move this thread to the proper section. I am sorry for posting in the wrong place.

I don't think the bet sizing is wrong at all if understand that by raising 12x pre you limit betting on the following streets (you bet 1/2 pot, 2/3 pot, had V only called you'd only have about a 1/2 pot bet left for the river and committed half your stack).
I find this line of thinking important because essentially what happened here is inevitable for good or bad - then you make a decision on the flop means somebody gets stacked.

Not much of a 6max player and I know it's a looser game, but can you explain why you called the 3:1 all in on a 4:1 gamble when the re-raiser was UTG?
I would assume since UTG raised the range could easily consist of 88, TT, AA, ATs, A8s.

88 or TT is exactly what I assumed he had, I was genuinely shocked when I saw that he called a 3bet with A2o, cause good regs don't usually do that. I called anyway because I was already commited to the pot, had a flush draw and a top pair and at these stakes people like to all in re-raise on the turn as a bluff, I've hero called a couple of those. I am not sure if math wise it was the right decision and this is exactly why I posted the hand for review.

I know it was a 3:1 re-raise with a 4:1 odds for me, but considering how much was already in the pot, was this a bad decision?

And thank you for getting involved in this hand review.
