Turn: ($3.10, 2 players) 5
Hero bets $1.80, MP+1 raises to $4.00, fold,

This just a snap fold? Or should I be calling here?

I would expect a raise from two pair and sets OTF (as it's a moist board to say the least) and we have blockers to the nut straight - only hand that makes a tonne of sense to slowplay till the turn on this board is KQhh I would think (EDIT: and Ax of hearts I guess but again I have teh blockerzzzz).

Also, should I have checked at any point in the hand - I assumed not because it's so draw heavy, but I hate bet folding this turn?

I mean I guess I have an ace and a queen which makes it less likely for him to have something like KQ right? Or is that wrong?

Fold it mate, even if he is bluffing you, a huge lot of turn cards will make it even worse to continue

Bet that flop bigger.

As played standard fold ott imo. We have no info as to whether V raises his draws and there are no good rivers.

Turn bet is super thin. Definitely fold to the raise.

When I read the headline, I thought why would villain not have many possible value hands?

After looking into that hand, there are loads of good hands villain may have hit:

Any AJ, A10, J10, AK, JJ, 1010, KQ...

You beat weaker aces, which would probably not raise here. Flush draws might raise here, if they think your turn bet is too weak. But even so, too many hands that put villain ahead of you and too few you beat, easy fold.

Exactly the bolded. Too much emphasis put on what to do against the raise. Betting the turn is really problematic.

Make a bigger bet OTF, the way you played the hand easy fold OTT. But Id rather check OTT since theres almost no worse combo that would call another bet and getting raised there puts you in awkward spot

So general consensus seems to not bet the turn. Are we check calling turn and river if no scare cards come?
