Depends on the player, I think calling the turn to fold the river is fine, you have stronger hands to call the river like 77-88

The tough thing is that raise was from MP, so BB is strong here, which makes the fold OTR better.

Why fold vs sqz? you don't expect people to squeeze light at these stakes, or is it strickly the sizing you want to fold against?

My mental game is pretty strong so while it was annoying I just plowed thru. I did spew of a few stacks in tilt. Was hugely below EV tho.

I was working full time too so any financial impact was not a problem but I actually made money after RB, the period was profitable.

So we don't know exactly how the guy construct his range, but he'll always squeeze AKo and AQ at a decent % then some suited ones too, when you don't bink he'll just easily be able to barrel you off and when you do you'll be getting owned by AK/chopping when lots of money goes in and rarely getting 2nd streets yourself. AQo has poor play ability, you're not going to be hitting many FDs/SDs that can easily float/double float with good equity, instead for example in your hh you're forcing yourself into a guessing game. I'd be looking to defend suited broadways/your decentish PPs here , but his sizings pretty big so don't need to go too crazy.

I don't in anyway play these spots anywhere near perfect and honestly when I'm actually playing I probably end up over folding with the OR folding.

I think in that spot, if you're folding AQo, then it's fine to fold SCs/ suited broadways too.

Now that I see the stats of MP, he is nitty, unless he folds a lot to 3-bets, BB will be really tight here in his squeeze, so you can fold AQ because of the reasons bagpuss said.

But against someone who is squeezing with bluffs, AQo is strong enough to call. We will have a ton of implied odds vs villain's A2s-A5s, AJ/AT, KQ/QJs, we're IP and can float on a ton of textures that aren't likely to hit villain's value range(like low boards) and take down on a lot of turns.

Also on that spot, you can have stronger hands like QQ/AK, since it's a good idea to flat vs a nitty guy and keep his worse hands in the pot, also setting up for back-raises pre-flop.

FTJ definitely helps. I remember having that. Having many many stacks direct deposited into your chequing account really negates that long term tilt during a long DS.

Vegas is gonna be a blast. First time going. Variance is gonna be huge. Either I'm gonna sun run and have the time of my life or I'm gonna run like shiiit and have to learn to power through it. I also wonder if Stars new challenge had a negative effect. New challenge is only .25/.50+. Actually I broke my BR goal yesterday and played some NL50 just to do the challenge. Made a $1.

It completely died yesterday for a couple of hours but started again pretty easily and went from 9 players to over 60 pretty quickly.

Wow it's like Arp all over again. Good thing I only planned on playing Zoom a few more weeks.
