I think you're not distinguishing the difference between "could" and "want to". For me, I could keep playing 25nl zoom and maintain a winrate of at least 5bb/100 (my winrate for the last 100k hands has been 7bb/100). I could spend many hours each day getting better at the tables and continue to move up stakes.

But I don't want to do this. I want to put all my energy, time and motivation into music and songwriting because I think this could bring a much bigger return than poker if it works out for me. I feel this is a great life decision for me to make, and I find it amusing and bizarre that you're still disputing that. Timstone, Sect7G and others have agreed this was a good decision to make, perhaps one of the best I've ever made.

Of course it was a good decision, if you can't deal with flipping for the cost of a decent dinner then there is no way you should be dedicating your time to poker. I don't dispute that.

I just find it amusing that for all the **** you talked about how beatable high stakes was and how you had a 5 year plan to be playing the biggest games in the world you didn't even make it out of micros before the stress of playing so high got to you.

Maybe playing poker was a mistake in the first place if you're in that kind of financial situation. But you're probably exaggerating again.

You know what that's called? It's a type of language feature called a hyperbole - "an extreme exaggeration used to make a point". Metaphors aren't meant to be taken literally, and neither are hyperboles. I was obviously exaggerating my potential in poker quite a bit, as it also depends on how you define "high stakes". For me in my living environment, 100nl is essentially high stakes.

You're missing the point. It's not that I can't afford to pay rent if I lose a buy-in at 50nl, since I obviously have plenty money behind in the bank and also in my poker roll to cover it. It's more the fact that the money amounts are big and meaningful enough so that it hurts mentally when I lose a big pot, as I'll start comparing the money to real life items of similar value, such as a week's rent.

You gotta give it to him. He is by far the most creative moron this forum has ever seen. Not just the fact that he has mental breakdowns on a regular basis and how apparently this statistician who's specialized in variance is affected by 25 burger swings, but the idea that 100nl is HIGH STAKES.

Honest to god, I laughed at that one. Probably the first post of his I genuinely enjoyed.

But good to see you go, you won't make it in music either. But I admire the effort.

That's not for you to judge; you've only scratched the surface of my music works, you haven't heard any of my electronic production skills in action nor my multi-instrumental works, and you probably aren't exactly a qualified music critic. All the people I've interacted with who are highly qualified and experienced in music have praised my work (sometimes in the form of a large monetary award and first prize in a national competition) and some think I could go far - but time will tell I guess. Maybe it'll be a flop; maybe I'll become the next Calvin Harris - who knows?

There is no substitute for professional treatment

So now it's up to you to decide, are you going to continue to remain in denial about your psychological pain, or is now the time to take that first big step forward to see someone professionally trained to help out people like you? Think about it at least.

And yet somehow you fail to see why people have such a low opinion of you on here ?

You have tried so desperately hard to be liked on here and somehow completely failed in spectacular fashion.

Go away ... learn from this and try not to fek up other areas of your life in a similar way.
