Hey guys,

I had some spare time on my hands (ok, fine, I have too much spare time on my hands) so I decided to record a 50NL video for you guys.

It's pretty big (that's what she said) around 400MB but I think it has a pretty good overall quality. It's 1 hour long.

Feel free to critique my play in any way you see fitting or ask any questions and I'll try to help you out if I can/know how.

Good luck.

seems like raising flop w/ intention to get it in vs. the 30/4 w/ AK tptk at the 47:00 mark is better than flatting the flop and going for 2 streets of value.

raising the flop allows him to fold bluffs/weaker hands and at the time I found it unlikely he'd be stacking off with worse than my hand if I attacked him on the flop and proceeded with aggression on the next street

Many thanks for this one! Giving back to the community lol. Very, very nice vid!

But btw, your Stars lobby looks like from the stone age... you ever update???

EDIT: Oh yeah, I remember that little soccer game

i'd agree if he didn't donk full pot... from what i've seen at 50nl and below, half-pot donks are almost always very weak, but full pot donks are usually weak TP hands. And stations don't fold weak TP hands.

all in all, it probably doesn't make a huge difference in this situation

At the very end when you would have flopped the nut flush, you said that it doesn't matter as the cards are shuffled constantly and every action at tables affects the shuffle.

At least Stars' representatives and their website are pretty adamant that they shuffle only before deal and the deck remains static throughout the hand. Apparently the constant shuffle is used on several other sites but from security point of view it really doesn't make difference either way if the RNG is good enough. (To be honest, constantly shuffling to me hints that RNG on a site may not be good enough - or at least the site owners have [had] doubts [at some point in time].)

Neat video, I liked it.

I tried downloading this and it took forever even with my fast connection, is there any chance someone could upload this somewhere else with a faster link? I could only get like 20/30kb/sec

nice vid,
I liked it how you explained people at these levels (i guess you mean 25NL and 50NL) people play with open cards,
that really saves you money

Short stackers run like god, just avoid them

@03:00 table 4 Pia: You get 99 in SB, MP shorty limps and HJ raises. I can't figure out why you are calling this? I mean shorty might raise and then HJ gets the chance to 4bet (as he did). Even if shorty folds you are OOP for the rest of the hand.

Do you call OOP if shorty shoves and HJ just calls?

Wouldn't it be better to either 3bet or fold pre instead of limping as you are OOP?

Edit: Great video btw!

That was a bad spot because the open limper has a huge shortstack so the isoer probably as a pretty good hand because he's going to be iso/calling off and I think 99 doesn't do well against a random 50NL regular isoing range in that spot.... i chose a weaker approach because I didn't feel like taking a 3 bet pot against the isoer OOP with 99 there... I dont think I can't call his 3 bet myself. I'm def calling if shorty shoves and HJ calls/folds.
