2c, full ring
not many reads; has two stars, seems to C bet a lot from position, could be ok/standard
Feel free to tell me how and why I botched this hand, but there's one thing I'm thinking I may have done ok, and that was finally consolidating this idea of 'getting worse to call'. In doing that, I checked the
flop and got a bet, then I fired the turn for value. No real reads except that this opponent seemed to C bet a lot, so I figured worse hands would give me value. On the river the reason I called was because I was thinking 'if he's got a better hand, wouldn't he bet smaller to not scare me a way' - that is, I literally took the inverse of that 'better fold, worse call' approach and applied it to him. If his hand is goddamn great, why shove the whole thing in?
