I think it was played ok until the river, its been said before but i just hate bluffing at this level we dont get enough folds.

The 3bet is too small especially against a fish. I think betting the flop is fine but would fold to his raise.

Vil is BB, not original raiser. We have no stats given for the original raiser.

Agreed about folding to the flop raise though.

When OOP, default to a 3B sizing that is a pinch larger than 3x.

Yes there will be times a smaller 3B will work (Eg: when restealing vs a guy who folds no matter the price) - but its not here.

Also, you should be aware of the BB to act after us. Which is another reason to 3B big.

Anyway, i prolly shut down on this flop. Certainly folding to the raise readless.

River bluff is passable vs a not very good semi-thinking reg who has checked back his TT, JJ, 99 hands OTT - as we "can easily have AQ or KQ" (despite the fact we prolly never 3B them pre)

But vs fish, im not bluffing - he will call with his TT, JJ hands. Infact, he will call with anything that raised the flop.

Also, im not a huge fan of the flop cb - your getting so few folds now and will be in so many nasty spots its just not worth it.

Betting with the intention of barreling away and hoping to fold out his 99-JJ seems reasonable... but this guy is a fish, and wont fold them.

(That said, I have tightened up my flop cb game in 3B pots... This is a type of board im happy to give up OOP)

Would have 3B to like .95ish.

Flop: Vs a reg you might be able to get away with a CB steal if he's holding 10s or lower and your image isn't spewy he might put you on the AA KK or QQ your repping.. Any fish however will call you with 77+ or worse he already hit a set with something like 66 or 33.(He did raise you) With the CB raised you should fold.

    River bet is dumb.
