AJ on 22J29 board.

Hello and thanks for reading.

Villain is 13/6/1.4 based on 772 hands. I am playing a little looser, at 18/12/2.5. No recent relevant history that I can think of between us.

Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

looks like a fold to me.

i cant believe villain bluff > 33% of the time here which means your choppping a lot and losing some. especially since you were the pfr so realisticly your range should have more over pairs than his which makes his line seem stronger

im expecting qq,99 or jj a fair amount of the time here

saying that, if you are going to stack off here i prefer to be the one shoving. at least you can increase your fold equity against his range with a jack in it

    pre is marginal but ok.
otf i really don't see any reason to bet that big
13/6 guy is betting the river this big only with Jx beaten. so he either flatted QQ+ or has the last JJ combo. if i check river is to check fold (he is not betting with worse and not many Jx in his range that call a 3 barrell and pot it otr...)

I would probably block bet/fold the river myself rather than play guessing games. TT will call a small bet, and maybe some weaker pairs if he really sucks and Zeebo is in play.

When he bombs the river, you're calling for a split at best. Without doing any maths, I'd say it's a fold to that bet-size.

What I can only think villain may have 99 or QQ+ which is quite probable. Raise preflop is questionable fold river as played.

I think the river is a fold, no way he does this with anything less than a J or JJ-KK. We don't have enough equity to call against that range when the best we can hope for is a chop
