Re: AA OTT after C/R OTF

Sets DO happen,

but the problem with laying down AA to this line is that you're still beating all the worse overpairs.

With a flush draw on the flop I'm calling flop and shoving turn. We don't have the Ac so he could have it.

It IS ok to get stacked here when you run into a set, it's not against the rules or anything and it doesn't make you a bad player to get it in here.

I don't think you can fold the turn. Lower overpairs and Flush draws can still be in his range. Also this seems to be a 6max hand.

I don't believe that he will probably play 88 like that, something like JJ-KK fits better. Anyway with that kind of stats, im seeing him with something like FD or even SFD more times than with sets or overpair. He's bet on the turn, to me seems like a weak bet for a set, but a weak/correct bet for something like overpair or FD/SFD.

I will be shoving or raise turn, and shove river if appears any card that is not a or something like 4 or 5 or 8. In the river if he maintain his bet you are probably behind.

Ok then you should be less inclined to fold the hand as the stats are very laggy for FR.

Re: AA OTT after C/R OTF

Regs dont play overpairs like this...

They do, however, play sets like this. Bluffs slow down OTT so often at the micros its almost a 100% reliable read.

He could have a FD, but this should be rare anyway.

I'm really hoping there's some sarcasm in this post.

I don't think there is and I don't think there should be. Folding flop without more info on villain is fine here.
