Villain is 13/8/2 over 560 hands.

I am always scared of dry flops like this when villains continue.

Not sure how to analyze this situation, because all things that beat me would have to slow play the turn, which seems kinda crazy to do. If not than this hands is full of AQ, kq type hands. but I think i am crushed here?

Thoughts?

Yeah, river is a pretty easy call. You are ahead of KQ/AK/AQ and 13/8s rarely check back the turn with a monster.

don't check turn. it's an easy b/f. river is an even eaiser call because your hand is so underrepped.

I'm starting to hate that i'm sounding like a nitbox today, but besides KQ what do we beat here?

13/8/2 will never bluff here, will never raise AQ, and WILL slowplay the turn with the monster because he is passive and passive people slowplay QQ, 99, 88 in this hand.

Saying that, turn is B/F.

I think we call here because our line looks like total b/s.

Hero raised UTG and bet on queen high flop and bet again on river king. Hero is telling the story that he has aq/ak minimum and villain is telling that he does not care and raises for a value.

I will still call here just for the info hoping to beat kq or rare ak which floated the flop. If you are beat, take a note.

How do you know this raise is for value?

FWIW I think the river is much closer that you all think.

Could be a bluff, but I don't think it's the line 13/8/2 will take on 25NL. At higher level people might fold but I don't think people are folding kx on that river to 13$ raise after betting 4$ on 25NL. Villain probably knows this and still raises, thus value.

And its not exactly a great board texture to bluff aswell.

We opened UTG, and its reasonable to expect AK, AA will call on river [if i i was villian i'd put hero on AK tbh], not to mention KK, QQ, 99 ldo.

Saying that, even though i'd play hand differently, i'd probably convince myself he has KQ and time-bank call.

Nice flop and turn play! No bet on turn becase you will not get any money from TT or JJ on river, also you may get some bluf stake from OESD.

river - easy fold. Most probably you are playing vs QQ or 88 or eaven JT. Check his call preflop stats, If it is something like 5% - his is catching sets on flop.

Anyone else agree with Valkyrie, cause i feel the only thing i beat is kq.

What do we lose to? 88 and the one combo of 99? Or is the 13/8 slowplaying a straight on a paired board?
