Do you think this is a good spot to raise or flat?

Reasons for Raising: fold out many many many better hands, his equity etc... Board is very coordinated in such a way that if you hit, you aren't likely to be paid off. He bets half pot which seems super weak and pretty much says(hey, I will fold to further aggression)

Reasons for flatting: there are turn cards I can bluff at. Clubs, 6's, 8's.

Actually, writing out the reasons here reinforces my decision that raising is probably the best play.

What would you do?

You left out a big consideration. If V is actually strong at this point or just decides to run a bluff then you might get reraised and priced out of your draw. If he has something like an over pair, he might just not want to see another card on that coordinated board or might put you on a draw and may therefore just decide to rip it. But big made hands don't grow on trees, so against his overall range given his stats, I prefer a raise here and I like your sizing. Wp imo

I like the raise, his stats suggest you're getting it through here. If he does click it back you have no decision to make, easy muck. WP.

Post is all good fun. But pre is not a call.

not knowing anything about blinds tendencies, call pf is perfectly fine imo...could 3bet as well though.

I don't like the call pre either. I'm okay with a 3bet though.

How could u not call ip against a tight opener....??

3bet works to but ip you have plenty implied odds..

As for raising depends if he will check fold a lot of the time on the turn. Tags almost always peel one off with a pp here to. I like a 3bet line pre personally.

High implied odd hands, and it depends on his pfr if u wanna 3bet. Tell me if i am wrong but from what is provided I like the call preflop.

There's not really a definitive right or wrong here but I'd like to see your actual calling range in this spot against this villain.
