50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
Welcome back to a new hand of the range game!
Info you get:
UTG = 38/12 over 60 hands. Very fishy, no hands of note though
BUT = 15/8 over 1K. 3B of 3%. CC% from the button of about 11%. We tangled earlier this session where I ran a c/r, dub, shutdown (never made it to SD). No real tangling past that
HERO = running 16/14 on this table, but BUT probably has me a little tighter at 13/11 or so.
MP = 36/4 over 40.
Everyone else = super nitty
Let's start with PF first!
Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 7 players
2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked
SB: $25.95
BB: $50.75
UTG: $49.50
Hero (UTG+1): $58.65
MP: $56.70
CO: $48.50
BTN: $50.95
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is UTG+1 with Xx Xx
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.20, 2 folds, BTN calls $2.20, 2 folds, UTG calls $1.70
What are we putting everyone on?

utg 30% of hands and button 11% of hands. stove it and adjust it to be reasonable...
you have 89s or AA.

Re: 50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
hero's range is tighter than that. Big Aces, and pairs. utg is trying to crack your aces so will be playing somthing "tricky" like sc's or maby just some random junk thats not strong enuff to raise with.
button can have alot of hands. and will be much easer to figure out after a flop comes out. (wat wallaceiii said)

Hero Isolation range
22+,ATs+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,98s,87s,76s,ATo+,KTo+, QTo+,JTo
Comment - I do not know exactly how Hero views isolating 22-55 hands in EP but I include it anyway. It might be slightly wider and include some more suited Ax. This might be alot wider than most would assign but I am making some operative assumptions for Hero outside of HUD or Std stat based range for 50NL TAG.
Loose Passive - Limp Call range
TT-22,AJs-A2s,K9s+,Q9s+,J8s+,T8s+,97s+,86s+,75s+,65s,AQo-ATo,KTo+,QTo+,JTo,T9o
Comment: It could be wider and at its widest is ~
TT-22,AJs-A2s,K9s+,Q8s+,J8s+,T8s+,96s+,86s+,75s+,65s,54s,43s ,AQo-ATo,K9o+,Q9o+,J8o+,T8o+,97o+,87o,76o,65o
Tight passives coldcall range
QQ-22,AQs-ATs,A5s-A2s,KJs+,QTs+,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,76s,65s,54s,AQo,KQo
Comment: I think this is probably the right range but the range can vary. This range is the most defined of all 3. Positional Protection of opener might include AK here. I am unsure if he plays AJo or ATo given where Hero's isolation is.

Re: 50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
Hero/Nit 77+, ATs+, KQs, AQo+, KJs, JTs.
I have not included the small PP since Hero might not want to play 22-66 3 or 4way even as a PFA since we are UTG+1 and therefore there are many players still to act behind us although we also show a lot of strength by raising here. One argument for raising a little wider pre and included some more sc and even 22-66 might be that UTG seems like a calling station and therefore we are getting two or three streets of value from him if he hit our small set on a 23K-board where he has KQ-KT or sth like that.
Button 22-QQ,ATs+,KJs+,AJo+,KQo
Not puttng any sc in his range might be a mistake cause it's likely that UTG will come a long so including 76s-T9s might be correct but well...
UTG is pretty wide like 22-TT,A2s+,KTs+,QTs+,J8s+,T8s+,98s,87s,A2o+,KTo+,QJo, J9o+,T9o (around 25-27% of hands)
I have not included hands like K8s or sth like that cause I'm having a hard time believing that people actually call this wide OOP but I'm sure I'm wrong here.

Re: 50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
UTG is lower end of top 24%. With a pfr of 18%, he is raising prf top 18% of hands so he is calling prf with 18-24%ish of hands prf. BTN w/ 3bet% of 3, from the btn he is probably 5% 3bet. He is 3betting top 5% of hands, with him playing 15/8 he is probably playing again like utg top 24% of hands so he is calling with lower 6-24%.(removing top 5%)
Hero is raising prf with top 10%

Re: 50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
UTG: 77-22,A8s-A2s,K9s-K8s,Q9s,J9s+,T8s+,97s+,87s,ATo-A4o,KJo,QJo,JTo,T9o
He prolly raises better hands and folds worse to a raise
Hero: 77+,A9s+,KTs+,QTs+,AJo+,KQo
Mostly high cards me thinks and 77+
BTN: 88+,AQs+,KQs,QJs,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,AKo,KQo
Can easily see him calling with AA, KK vs your UTG+1 raise hoping that UTG comes along. Other than that some PP, SC and high suited cards.

Re: 50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
Grunch
UTG:
77 - 22, A8s - A2s, A9o - A2o, K9s - K8s, KTo - K9o, QTs - Q9s, QJo - Q9o, JTs - J9s, JTo - J9o, T9s - T8s, T9o, 98s - 97s, 98o, 87s, 87o, 76s, 76o, 65s
Hero:
Hero's range should be reasonably wide because everyone is nitty, but then again, his range should be tightish because he is in ep. I say something like:
66+,ATs+,KJs+,QJs,ATo+,KJo+
Button:
JJ-22,AQs-ATs,KJs+,QJs,AQo-ATo,KJo+
UTG's limp calling range will be 100% of limping range due to "pot odds"

Re: 50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
UTG: anything pretty. 22-66, any ace up to ATo, A2s-A9s, 54s+, any non-premium broadway, KJs-K7s, Q9s-Q8s, J9s-J7s, T9s-T6s, most other sc's 67s+.
Hero: A9o+, 66+, T9s+, QTs+, KJo+.
Tight-passive coldcaller: 22-JJ, AQ-Axs, suited broadways, 98s+, KQo, maybe KJo, QJo. 99-JJ, AQ, AK all in range but discounted.

Re: 50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
UTG: 22-55, A2s-A9s, A2os-ATos, 54s+, 64s+
HERO: 99+, AQs+ (maybe a little tight, but it looks like your isoing a fish limping, which makes you look weak, so i'd assume that you know that they know this and iso a tighter range)
BTN: 22-JJ, 54s+, 64s+, KJs/os+, TJs/os+

Re: 50NL - Let's Play The Range Game: Vol 4!!!
There are very good reasons why I went wider.
The fact that it is 7 handed is notable - thus it should widen everyones range.
Split would know this and thus his range will be wider than ascribed.
Also, Split should recognise that he is positionally protected from being squeezed. So he can isolate wider.
Finally - given split can value-bet thinly - he will isolate wider than what might be advised to others.
