50nl 9-handed FR, I don't like folding round 2

Villain seems like typical 50nl FR reg:

NL Holdem $0.50(BB) Merge
SB ($56.70)
BB ($61.26)
UTG ($30.52)
Hero ($51.50)
UTG+2 ($41.63)
MP1 ($42.15)
MP2 ($50.75)
CO ($50.75)
BTN ($83.37)

Dealt to Hero 7 7

fold, Hero raises to $1.50, fold, fold, fold, fold, BTN calls $1.50, fold, BB calls $1

FLOP ($4.75) 4 6 J

BB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $3, BB folds, Hero calls $3

TURN ($10.75) 4 6 J A

Hero checks, BTN bets $6, Hero raises to $18,

Do you ever play JA this way? It's a strange line for sure. I'd say your range which check calls the flop is mostly QJ JT and then some AXs flush draws... And maybe you raise A4 with flush on the turn but I usually would just call all my aces with a flush on the turn.

But I can see it being an exploitative raise since the villain will probably bluff that card too much, but since he bet flop with a player left to act I think his range is a little stronger than if heads up. I don't think he has a lot of worse jacks in his range which bet the flop... In other words , I think his preflop calling range with jacks is weighted toward AJ (although who knows if he calls AJo preflop but you get my point).

I'm not sure what you're repping, other than perhaps a FD. I don't think Hero would check the flop w/ a set or overpair right?

Possibly trying to get thin value w/ AK. I don't MIND this, as BTN's range should be quite wide here (IP, you c/c on a wetish board).

Would you expect anyone other than the spazziest of spazzes to do this as a bluff though?

No - but a lot of regs don't really like to fold when the line doesn't make any sense.

Do I play a different 50nl FR than you do?

I tend to agree with PokerRon in that confusing lines elicit calls, but you're right that regs fold ride to aggression. But there still has to be better hands to do this with... Kh Th or some other better made hand you turn into a bluff like QJ.

I like this.

If I'm villain with AK here who bet flop and barreled turn I'd most likely fold if I don't believe OP takes a lot of fancy creative lines.

Probably wouldn't cbet flop though if I thought villain was capable of lines like this and if I did I wouldn't be folding here. So I guess depends what you think villain thinks of you.

He will probably be rightly suspicious, but fold TPTK and worse anyway and figure you played a big hand strangely. More equity would be nice, but with more we could consider just calling I guess.

Re: 50nl 9-handed FR, I don't like folding round 2

I think the line might be ok against opponents that have high % bet vs missed cbets on the flop and turn if you think he will fold most of his Ax here. Maybe?

Villain's sizing otf and ott seems weak, which would make me want to pull the trigger like this... what do you think the villain's range contains?

Regardless of the outcome doing stuff like this is probably good for your image if you're gonna play at the fiddy for a while.

Wait, were you drunk during this hand? lol

Yeah but I've been analyzing it sober. I agree I don't rep much and it's probably bad against most good players who also think I'm a spazz but I'm pretty sure most regs (myself included if I'm in their spot) probably just think "lol no one bluffs this way just another retard trying to play the nuts weird" and fold.
