Hello people, there is a situation where I use to 3bet for value and later fold to a reraise.

This is ussually against fishes who have a wide Open range, low fold to 3bet and low 4bet.

So, I 3bet to make a large pot with good not so good hands because I know the fish will call me with many worse hands, but I will fold if he 4bet me because I know his low range crushes me.

I think the pros of being a lot of times in a 3bet pot with a good a hand vs a fish with worse hands are better than the cons of fold this goods not so goods hands the few times the fish will 4bet us.

¿What do you think about it?

That's fine. You're 3 betting for thin value basically. It's like betting the river for thin value but folding to a raise.

So you are inflating the pot against a fish with a range that beats his and folding on the rare occasions he has you crushed? Sounds good to me.

Sounds like a good concept, one I may use >.<

What's your plan if you get called and playing OOP postflop?

Sounds fine to 3b/fold a fairly wide linear range.

I do it just IP, because I can have a big edge against the bad player, even when I may be dominated, I can control the pot and induce action when hit in some dry boards by checking back sometimes

OOP I still playing straight, 3betting a more narrow range and calling with hands I don't want to fold against a 4bet

Thanks people for the feedback
