Thought process: I pegged villain for a weak opponent and wanted to play position in hand. Luckily I gathered outs on flop and made my 2hand flush on turn. Does this play look okay?

You hit exactly what you wanted but J8s is just too marginal to be isolating limpers at 2nl. That's not how you make money at these stakes.

Pre's fine albeit loose. Flop raising and calling are both fine. Turn with this flush yeah I'd just rip it in. So overall WP hand.

Would have played it the same way. I mean, if you don't plan on getting maximum value from your flush probably there was no reason to play those cards in the first place. Also, at these stakes we see all kinds of crazy.

However, I wonder what the merits of just calling the turn raise are. This is somewhat similar to a recently posted hand you've replied to btw although here you are not deep

Even if you had considered calling for fear of a higher flush, the river will be a problem. You will have about a pot size bet left. If another heart comes, you may then fear a higher flush. If the board pairs, you may fear that too. So if Villain checks you might check behind just in case because you wouldn't want to bet/fold. If Villain bets you'll be unsure what to do again. The river being what it was, you would probably call a shove on the river anyway so probably there isn't much difference?
