Definitely disagree with the 'fold pre' suggestion, but he's absolutely right about folding river. People never donk this type of flop with air, so you have to give them credit for at least a decent holding.

Which is what makes the call on the flop for the gutshot perfectly fine
. Implied odds make it a +EV call.

Check on the turn perfectly fine.

River is not the card you were looking for at all, so this should be an easy fold.

calling JTo pre vs a 3x is beyond terrible.

Given effective stack size it is super definitely a fold pre flop..

The effective stack size pre is 103BB
I have position, probably at least some skill edge and a hand that plays rather easy post-flop?

Please explain me how you are all standard folding JTo on the button!

Asking yourself this will be instructive: If it plays rather easy post flop, then why the need for a HH thread?

Also, you are making the assumption that you will make it post-flop, which is not always the case as you will squeezed some % of the time.

That hand is super good at hitting middle pair type hands which often leaves you scratching your head to know where you're at in a hand.

I see from your hand history that you are running Poker Tracker. Have a look to see how you've been doing with J10o.

I'd fold this pre-flop.

JTo is dominated by all the guys opening range so whenever you hit a pair you have reverse implied odds. Secondly it's not suited, so can't exactly float with FDs/BDFDs, so you're only chance of winning is when you hit straights which frankly isn't all that often.
