I call pre mostly for UTG+2 as he was a fish, plus considered QJs from BTN is a good hand multiway. CO looks like regular (no info on him)
On the FLOP I think he cbets with all his range and having TPMK I decided to call, looking to continue x/c on any blank turn or heart. On the river I decided to fold as I don't think he is valuebetting with worse hands and also not turning his pockets pair in a bluff.
My question is, should I have called on the river as played? or maybe should've let it go on the turn?
Fold pre because 3bet range beats QJs by far and you're not even closing the action. Maybe if they are huge fish it's ok but I wouldn't say this is a great hand to do this with.
Fold flop probably because a 3bettors cbet range into 3 people is far tighter than just a cbet. I doubt most people will (should) fire away here with AK or JJ which are totally reasonable hands to have in his range. Depends on reads I guess but a 'regs' 3b+cbetting range in this spot would probably be more like QQ+, KQ, AQ. It sucks to fold though when you actually hit the flop, which is another reason to fold pre.
Fold turn because again his range beats you almost always.
Now river is actually debatable once you get there. If you call turn there is not reason to expect him to suddenly beat you on the river which is about the blankiest of blank cards in the deck. Still, having made mistakes earlier in the hand doesn't mean we should keep making him so you should still fold imo. But as a rule don't call the turn with a made hand when you plan on folding the river to a similar bet.
