Villain may be loose, but he's passive. A4s doesn't have great equity against a 7% raising range. Factor in being OOP and it's an easy fold pre.

Post flop plays itself, I'd bet a bit more OTT though.

Yep, what Useful_Idiot said. I'd be thinking bigger OTT and smaller (as a % of psb) OTR. If we bet pot OTT, can can still bet 16BBs OTR, except it's now a 66% psb.

7 bb turn and 17 on river nets us 4 more mini-hamburgers and probably gets as many or maybe more calls.

But fold pre.

I am only a beginner myself, but just to give my opinion, I would definitely fold pre.

As others have said - fold. You can 3bet vs regs; I hate calling in the blinds vs MP.

Thanks all! I just have a question: Is it okay at times (like 10% or so) to make a call from the blinds with hands as weak as A4s? I usually do fold em pre but they are suited 2 gappers so might have some value in high SPR situations no?

Like everything, it depends. So is it ever ok? Yes, sure. But only if you can fold tpnk if you need to. You also want fish involved and multiway action. And I doubt the situation would come up as high as 10%.

If I stick around much longer I might even start playing poker again.
