This was a weird one. Wanted to 3bet pre but went against it and limped. Flop comes paired and SB leads 3x the pot but I don't believe he has a Jack so I bravely call :P Plus I had a FD. Turn, another jack and now SB slows down so thinking he was taking a stab I decide to take one myself, plus having a jack is less likely now. But I get re-raised and have to insta fold my bluff.

Comments on all streets please: Pre, Flop & Turn.

I think you played it fine up until the Turn.

Pre flop - Check, you want to play your hand multiway.
Flop - Call
Turn - I would have checked, for exactly what happened to you. You don't want to get check raised in that position, plus you get another free card on the river to try to complete your flush.

Pre is fine. I might attack these fishy limpers with 89s in position, though.

Flop, I just fold. We've got the Jesus Seat on this fish and will get better chances to stack him than this.

As played, take the free card OTT.

I prefer a raise pre because some % of the time, BTN will fold and SB will call, and we then have position in the hand vs a 100% VPIP player. If it goes multi way, we're fine with that too. If we get back 3B is a comfortable fold.

I think BTN is almost never folding to a raise pre actually but it's kinda whatever.

I just fold flop because these guys can have anything, we might not have that many outs to win (maybe none) and the price is too big. Why go into a drawing war against a fish that we can stack with TPTK type hands.

As played check turn. This guy will fold almost nothing here. In fact I rate his range as likely extremly strong most of the time, FH or better. So if we hit a flush OTR i'm only calling half pot bets or so, maybe.
