2NL - AA vs random

Villain is unknown. Is check/call on river ok? Will we gain value from worse by leading river? What about betting a smallish 25% of pot blocker bet?

He's a fishy half-stacker that's called you down on two streets with only second pair, and he lucked out on you on the river. It won't be profitable for him in the long-run if he does this against you.

If he calls the flop and turn with second pair, then he is definitely the sort of bad player that will call the flop, turn and river with top pair, so just value bet him relentlessly.

Agree with above - betting bigger on flop and turn, then by the river, it's going in anyways.

What are you trying to block?

I cant fold this. Flush draws bricked, straight draws bricked and you've given him the opportunity to spazz on the river by checking. Maybe he even does this w/ Kx.

Bet bigger on flop and turn to maximise your value vs his draws before they brick. You could prob go something like .12/.36 and the river is easy shove, yeah sometimes he has J x but you also valuetown his Kx

more on flop, more on turn, shove river

stop getting complex thinking about blocker bets because you lost this hand.
