    Flop: ($9.60) 2 6 Q (2 players)

    Spoiler:

Villain is 22/13 over 65 hands with a 10.3 3bet%. This was the first 4bet he had faced. Preflop I am willing to get it in. Thoughts on flop? Better to take a free card in position with backdoors and 2 overs? Anyone prefer flatting the 3bet pre? His 3bets had only been called twice, but he cbet both times.

I'd just flat 3-bet without a better read. As played, check flop that board sucks.

i would never flat this guy's 3b, but i do agree about just giving up once that flop comes down.

Definitely prefer flatting the 3b. This is the sort of guy that has lots of dominated aces in his 3b range that fold to a 4b but barrel off post flop if we flat.

Once he flats the 4b, I can't see any merit in betting the flop. We won't bluff him off many better hands and assuming he will spew with AJ etc is being a little too optimistic. Check it back.

Pre or flop? What's is your standard cbet sizing in a 4bet pot? I personally go like 33% pot as a default. Do you prefer different sizing because of the villain or as a default?

    both
bout the standart stuff, well it's not what you go for as a standart, it's about what most players view as it and in most cases it's around 50%. I suppose there's not much of a difference in a 10% increase/decrease to a sizing but well imo this is same **** as donking in some spots - u have no clue how your opponent will react and therefore you're making yourself harder to read opponents hand n stuff.
anyway im not too sure about this stuff myself so take whatever u like from it
and the last part, bout the villain, well u do need reads for that, history or something

This. Flatting 3b in position is totally fine cuz we crush his 3b range. As played I'm cbetting for 50% of pot, always level myself into thinking small cbets induce spazz and we dont want to induce anything atm because we have to fold anyways. But checking back this flop seems like the best play to be fair.

    grunch

i dont mind calling or 4bet... sample size too small to come to the conclusion he 3bets alot and will have wide ranges and we can 4bet profitably vs most regs here most likely so i like the 4bet

as played ide call his flop raise or ide check the flop back since we are i.p and reevaluate turn, basically i wouldnt be folding on much turns and rivers tbh...

when ppl call my 4bets in this spot their hand is usually garbage even though we reason it out to be hands like jj-qq/ak alot of the times its not cause nobody really flats 4bets in spots like this so when they do they can have wide ranges imo & they just didnt wana fold and they expected u to check give up if u didnt have qq+ pretty much
