Newer player here. I've read a lot of posts that seem to be quite down about how hard it is to be a winning reg nowadays. I'm curious on what the win rates would be for average/good/excellent regs at $25nl. I'm playing on stars at the moment but would it be worth looking elsewhere?

I'm also wondering if let's say 3bb winrate is attainable for someone who just plays tight and solid game. I can even play at nights (well, day or evening for Canadians) when the games seems to be best.

Stars is not good for micros the rake at these stakes is huge, you would be better off at Microgaming and move back to stars when you are rolled for nl100.

Thanks. I see there are a few do they all have the same rake system? Stars seems to be 4.5% for $25.

This seems to say Microgaming is 5%? "Note: Our system collects €0.01 in rake for every €0.20 in the pot. This means that for a pot of €0.39 only €0.01 is collected in rake. This ‘rounding down’ means that the effective rake rate will be less than 5%, significantly so for some pots. No rake is taken from a pot of €0.19 or less."

I think 5bb/100 is a really good winrate in NL25, the best regs of the stake should make around that over 300k+ hands.
