I wasn't sure if I should call here with JJ. If he had went straight all in I would snap calll, presuming he is a fish with a very wide range. We have a vague idea of V, and his stats doesn't look too outrageous. But the fact that he didn't 4bet to say 18bb does seem like I might have the better hand. If he had AA or KK he would probably have done that, not wanting to scare me away from the hand. So it might just be possible he has 99 or TT, or perhaps AK or AQ. Feels like it is a close spot, and wasn't sure what to do.

4b pre imo. AP it's probably close because BTN's range will be slightly wider given the dead money and the expectance that you will be folding 100% or overcalling, but I don't mind the fold.

4bet pre with the intention of calling a shove I guess?

+1. Flat calling isn't ideal as we are pretty much inviting BTN to flat, play IP and we lose equity, or 4B us wide.

I certainly wouldn't 4b/f.
