So maybe the Chevy driver shouldn't be so quick to turn that wave into a middle finger; there are other explanations worth exploring other than the guy being a snob.

heh, I wish it was sagacity.

Unfortunately, stry was not talking about cars. I'm the "Lexus driver." His problem with me is that I apparently failed to reply to an e-mail he sent me a long time ago. He sent me a nasty (well, more sarcastic than nasty) e-mail contemporaneously with his post.

So it wasn't sagacity, but, rather, it was just me knowing that I occasionally forget to reply to an occasional e-mail due to the high volume of them I receive. I certainly don't consider myself a "Lexus driver." I consider myself as someone who rides the (short ) bus because he's too busto to even own a car.

I haven't posted a trip report on my shot at $200 in a while, so:

Basically, I feel pretty good about the game. I won't feel really good until I have beaten it in a much bigger sample. But I'm pretty sure I have an edge. I try not to mix it up against the regs too much, but that is the only adjustment I have made between $100 and $200.

One way I have been running "bad" is in having three bet opportunities. But I think it is actually helping my win rate, lol. In other words, I think I was spewing preflop and being card dead in three betting situations has solved the problem for me.

One thing I have done that has helped a lot is to drop down and play a max of 10 tables. i can just feel myself making better post flop decisions.

So, all in all, pretty happy so far.

Pokerstars and FTP obviously have nothing to worry about.

"RPM Poker - Licensed and Audit by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission."

Real ad on 2+2. Thought I misread it the first time. Just about as good as marketing Nova poker in Latin America.

lol no va poker

Anyone wanna talk about beats/brags while they grind? All my current poker buddies aren't on much during the day.

I'd prefer someone on FTP since I play on Stars and don't want to get too buddy buddy with people I play against.

HIT ME UP ON PM MFOS

mpehty,
Don't worry about what the haters in the FTP SSNL regs thread are saying. You can beat NL200.

If the first nice weekend in DC was any indication, it's going to be a good summer to be in the BBQ business!

I'm also guessing that people sacking out to watch the NCAA's didn't hurt. I hope Maryland's crippling loss doesn't hurt next weekend...

Look at the situation from their perspective: The first possibility is that I am pretty solid (though I am still what you would consider a nut peddler, and I make no apologies for it), and I have a sufficient roll to experiment at $200 to see if I can hang there. If this is the case, your tone could have been interpreted as taking a bit of a cheap shot at me.

The second possibility is that I am not good enough for $200, and the $200 regs want you to stfu so you don't run me back to $100, thereby depriving them of a fish with a deep roll.

Moreover, different regs could have both of these opinions, so you were pretty much bound to get flamed for what you said.

For my part, I took your comments at face value. I don't know why you think I suck, but you had previously made it clear that you do, and I took your comments as sincere advice that I should not move up to $200.

Anyway, no worries. Thanks for the good luck wishes.
from snnl ftp regs

this is insane ownage, gj and best of luck at 200

View: breakeven regs are good for the game.

The sharks can't be there for every fish, so someone has to hold the fish's money until they come for it.

Y'all should be thanking for me doing you a solid.

I want to know how the guy in ssnl got to 2000 posts while flaming mods.

You're too patient.

lol @ his replies too. Basically, I can't beat NL200, so no one can.

Truthfully, I have no idea. My propensity for tilting and breaking computers means that my current db extends back only to November '09. PTR has me at 1.54 ptbb/100 in 234k hands for what that's worth. I have way more hands than that at $50, so, <shrug>. Whatever it is, it's not great.

this made me lol.

Unless it is insanely over the top, I'd never ban or infract somebody for criticizing me. Simply saying I suck at poker is well within the posting guidelines.
