Hey guys, BU is 30/15 35%RFI 190 hands
CB 69(16)/100(4)/0
Do you like raising this hand vs a villain that would potentially barrel this turn a ton?
Calling Tx Qx, J9 we can have 99 55 QT KJo J8 for value
Blocking KQ KJ, not blocking FD's, seems decent?
Looks good given your range and villain’s barrel tendencies. Like the river jam, since I think vlllain will raise with sets and better so I think villain can fold AQ OTR, maybe even QT
Pre-flop. I quite like flatting or 3betting here. If it was a lower suited kicker then I'd lean more toward 3betting but I think K9 has enough high-card value to make it playable flatting so long as you're comfortable playing OOP.
Flop is fine.
Turn. I don't really like the raise. What's the plan here? You just turned a lot of equity but not enough that you can call a jam with. If villain shoves here you've just burned a lot of equity. You're turning your hand into a semi-bluff in a position where you probably don't have as much fold equity as you think you might have.
As played, River jam. He probably has a lot of missed flush, straight draws and one-pair hands that he might lay down so I think this is good. If the turn raise combined with the river shove on a brick was all part of the same plan then yeah I guess the whole thing is fine. You'd want to make sure that villain is in possession of a fold button first though.

We don’t have that much equity, a gutter and trips and 2pr, that’s like 20% roughly. I don’t think I would ch/c a turn with only that. Furthermore, in this spot, villain will check back T or J a lot of the times, so our implied odds aren’t great if we hit

Sorry, you're correct. On first glance I thought OP had turned a flush draw for some reason.
