those card suits didn't render. Was the flop monochrome and did the turn bring another card of the same suit or was it a case of 2 suited on the flop and a third on the turn? Was either of your Q's of the same suit?

Stats on villain other than "nit fish" - which makes me think he's like 5/2 - would be very useful.

There are very few hands that make sense here:
AA, KK, AK of spades, KQ of spades, QQ, JJ, TT, JTs

AA, KK would probably not go all-in on the turn, unless villain is not as fishy as you think and has the A or K of spades.

AK of spades probably doesn't call the flop bet?

KQ of spades may or may not call the flop bet, depening on how nitty the fish is?

QQ is very unlikely since you hold the Q of spades.

JJ is very possible and has you beat but probably doesn't shove all-in on the flush turn

TT may or may not call pre-flop and has you beat

JTs probably doesn't call pre-flop

Since not a single hand is consistent with my image of nit-fish, we need more info or you read is wrong.

I would bet about half the pot on the turn there and call if he went all in. This puts him to a decision for all his money basically. Even if he has you beat you still have outs - 2 Q's and a flush draw.
