March went pretty well. Also won a $215 MTT ticket in a satellite that I haven't used yet. It would be nice to use it to win something more than a min cash.

**** end to the month oh well. Better to take some Ls at 25NL than in Vegas this summer. I honestly thought I was "crushing these scrubs" but that heater definitely made me a little cocky and the slight downswing at the end helps keep me a little humble. I'll set more realistic goals for April.

Nice break even month. Was fun to experiment with 6 max though it didn't turn out well. Will probably give it another stab soon though. Happy to win it all back at full ring.

Tilt was definitely the main factor in the 6 max loses. Guys were so bad, it probably should be more beatable than FR but too often guys would show up with the craziest hands, win and then I'd spew a few buy-ins before quitting.

Ironically I think 6 max really helped my FR game, so maybe it's worth it in the long run.

I feel like 6m is just legit harder than FR and requires a higher level of skill because there's a worse fish to reg ratio. I think that's why when you play live most fish hate shorthanded and for some reason prefer boring 10 handed play.

the premise that 6max has a worse fish to reg ratio than fullring is definitely not true for reg tables and probably false for micro stakes zoom as well I would think.

Its a well knows fact that 6 max fish hit every flop no matter what 2 cards they hold.

in 6-max it's easier to play with the fish.
in FR if you're at UTG+1 and fish limps from UTG, you can't iso with A5s, since there are tons of regs after you who will 3-bet you light IP.

the biggest things I learned by playing 6-max is about completing more from the BB, even vs UTG opens it's fine flatting JKs vs a 3bb open from a reasonable player.

also a big mistake I see people doing in 6-max zoom in the micros is overplaying JJ/TT pre, tons of regs stack off with JJ pre, even in UTG dynamics. They also cold call 3-bets against the UTG.

Not saying that it's bad to do it, in more aggressive games it's the best play, but people aren't 3-betting light enough vs UTG to make it profitable.

by having that nitty background, the FR players have a huge advantage over 6-max regs when it comes to pre-flop.

Then 4 bet. And nothing wrong with stacking off JJ/TT in aggro 6m games in steal positions. UTG probably don't go too crazy obv.

You can 4-bet if you think villain knows you're isoing a ton. the problem is that you will be 4-betting too much or folding too much, then why not simply fold and avoid getting exploited by that?

Villain can easily flat ur 4-bet and own you post-flop, specially if you're deep.

There are a ton of players acting after you, they have the 0 EV option, which is folding, they can do whatever they want and there are 5 people IP vs you. also it's really hard to know if someone is 3-betting you light or not in that specific spot, they could be making a STD value 3-bet and you could easily start leveling yourself and going into bad spots.

OK but my 4 bet range from EP is strong. If I'm isoing a fish then 4 betting A5s I definitely have value hands as well. Villain can go ahead and flat all he wants. Position really doesn't mean shiit when the SPR is like 1.5.
