im with coldeu, the idea behind shocking the muscles is because your body is great at adapting but rly if you move away from hypertrophy youll just progress in endurance or strength (i realise hypertrophy helps these areas but its primary's/secondary's). Trying new exercises can help to hit muscles/parts you weren't before.

+1 but its one of the most enjoyable exercises, i think just pushing through/resting more has helped me the most with OHP but otherwise id imagine iso'ing areas your neglecting will help

edit: no poker goals, in for bulking talk though, gl all

Trying new exercises or switching sets, it both does the same thing. It stops the muscle from getting used to a pattern.

You change so little too. I just strayed a bit from the conventional reps and sets and started doing drop sets and super sets. That's it and it worked wonders.

Try it.

Don't know what the **** was going on today and yesterday. Got down a couple of buyins, got back slowly thinking things where looking up, then got doomswitched straight back down again in like 100 hands. After going through this 4 times I had enough and decided to move up to where they respect my raises. Needless to say got doomswitched there as well a few hands in (set, gii on turn with 75% eq, lose).

Some more highlights:
KK vs AA - 4 times, no win.
AA vs KK - 1 time, lost when turn went allin and he 2 outered. Might be missing some if people are making herofolds I guess.
Won 1 hand with less than 50 equity (46%, 25bb pot)
About 6buyins under EV in 8000 hands

Done with the pokers. But since we're on the topic of fitness:

feel sick but better at the end just feel gratitude for making that run, since theres **** variance with so many bad players in MTT's right now, running that deep needs tons of luck congratz for that.

Meh, rather just go out early than make it so deep only to go out on a 20% cooler. Guess at least you weren't the bubble boy for 1,5 times as much money.

anyway...with no intent to offend anyone and having no idea how 2+2 was...I just wanted to say that sometimes things are like they always was..and we are different...( time usually do things like that )... It's only a prospective change needed to see it..dunno if it is applicable here..but it usually happens...

Strat talk folks: I'm torn with this particular spot, you open & a tight aggressive reg calls i.p vs you. Flop comes low & very dry, say for eg: 4-2-2 & you have hands like broadways with two overs to the board & not even a backdoor flush/str8. Should we c/f vs a player such as this or bet cause we have two overs with 25% equity vs made hands & clearly more equity vs their entire range on the flop. What is making me torn is because otf we prob don't get enough folds out-right so we need to have a profitable turn-river barrelling strategy, how do you guys play that spot?
