I called here because I figured that for the most part the only thing that could be beating me here was KT with a heart and that there were JA that I was beating. That's about as far as I thought it through. Is this ok? I thought that call call bet was fishy.

River call seems good to me. Can't fold this when you beat all his bluffs and 2 pair hands. Plus he probably doesn't play sets this way on the flop and turn.

I'd say there's two points in the hand where we can really narrow V's range. The turn close to pot bet call excludes a lot of air/junk. I think even KJ folds there a lot and also AJ raises a lot. The bet at the end is extremely polarising, in his estimation he's either bluffing or has a monster.

At this level I'd assume less bluffs unless V has shown a tendency in the past. The question is how does top two pair sit against V's estimation and are we ahead enough to make the call +ev.

Pretty close to 2/1 on the call, you break even at 33%, slightly more compensating for rake. Player dependent but average joe at these levels river donks pot. I think his range is narrowed to AQ and K10h, Not often it narrows so much. That's 9 combos you chop with, and 1 that crush you. It's worth the call.

Mind if there's even only a few bluffs from whiffed f/d's and any slow played turned 2 pairs (unlikely on that scary board) then it's better.
