Getting 3-betted too much - How to properly respond Getting 3-betted too much - How to properly respond

So I've been playing 10NL for about 35K hands last month for about +5BB/100, which is okay but not great at all. I'm playing 24/16 which I reckon is kinda loose-ish but my W$SD% is nearly 60% so I'm not spewing chips when I miss flops.

One thing that does bother me however, I get 3-betted a lot. Obviously this is due to me playing a more loose-ish style which gets me 3-betted. But I'm not really sure how to counter this. Villains 3-betting me have a 3-bet percentage of anything between 2-5, but vs Hero of 10-15. They're targeting me for my loose-ish style.

Is it more wise to err more towards a TAG-style, 4-bet more widely (and if so, what range), or have you got a completely different approach?

Please help

4bet slightly wider for value and bluff more. If this is FR stats too you need to cold call less pre, gap of 8 is too big imo.

i would go with pot odds and position 4b light sometimes JJ+ but hands like AQs+ i would see the price and position, cbet and other stats.

i wouldnt start 4betting deliberately. just compare if your range is over his 3bet range and go from there "play poker" improve your postflop game.

tighten up pre, if its the same guys then construct a range for them and call if you have >35% and solid playability.

How do you guys play 3bet pots OOP? Do you reraise sets where you only have overpairs/sets and not draws? Or do you try to balance it out with draws aswell? Or do you just check raise with overs+bdfd along with your sets? Is check raising ever good in 3bet pots? I'm losing loads of money when calling 3bet pots. I'm way better off just folding to every 3 bet and watch my win rate rise.

Play tighter and more straightforward, do not bluff raise in most spots since you will often be against tight ranges or calling stations or both, raising sets for value otf is highly effective in and out of position, some players overcbet when checked to in 3bet pots so you can get a bet from air sometimes as pf aggressor oop. Playing an extremely tight range preflop vs 3b oop is a pretty solid strategy most of the time.
