Full-ring vs 6-Max Full-ring vs 6-Max

Firstly, i have a quick question regards to full-ring and 6-max tables, atm the site i'm playing on only has reg tables (no zoom/zone poker) and there seems to be a decent amount of traffic on full-ring.

Is full-ring fishier/more action the say 6-max?

I understand that you get more hands per hour while playing 6-max but from my experience i feel like full-ring there is much more action/whales then 6-max

---

Now the strat part...

So in regards to basic strat/preflop ranges with 6-max it's a lot of 3! or fold from most positions unless you are bb or bu that has more flatting ranges from a theory persp + when regs are capable of squeezing behind you ya generally don't flat that wide only if whales are behind ya etc.

So in full-ring same concept/theory, sort of confused do we want to be flatting more or 3!ing more full-ring as opposed to 6-max (given the extra 3-4 positions/players)?

I think ik the answer but i would just like some discussion, i play live poker as well and yeah i call uber wide like have massive flatting ranges in LP (if calling > 3!ing) as per mentioned above

Edit: Sorry if any mod see's this can you move it to micro-small stakes nl forum sub thread it has more viewers and might get more responses thanks

Don't flat ever unless you have strong equity advantage and playability or some other circumstance like its multiway or a good set mine. Both tables have fish but with 6 max you play more hands with them. At your average nl10 table I don't think 3-betting is that much of a problem that you have to adjust your flatting range all that much, if they are then just drop a few hands from your calling range and 3b/fold them.

There are fishes in both, but should be more action in 6 max since you need to play more LAG there to compensate for the blinds.

Check out the stats thread - it's very rare that you should be limping in or cold calling preflop raises. You need to raise or fold most of the time.
